Bringing Online and Offline Together
2014 marks an important year for Zalando. That’s when we started to evolve from an online retailer to a platform; an open ecosystem that is primarily geared towards connecting all relevant groups in the fashion industry. Those relevant groups might include brands and retailers, influencers and creatives or private labels. Today, four years later Zalando is reaching a new milestone: by the end of 2018, more than 600 physical stores will have plugged into the Zalando platform. Jacintha de Graaf, Regional Lead Benelux, will elaborate on the concept of Connected Retail and why Zalando believes that the digitization holds many opportunities for all parties involved.
